Welcome to Salt Lake City CrossFit (“we,” “our,” or “the Gym”). By accessing and using our facilities, participating in our classes, and engaging with our services, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Membership Agreement
1.1 Membership Types
We offer various membership options, including monthly, annual, and class-specific memberships. You can choose the membership plan that best suits your needs. Prices and membership benefits are available on our website and in the gym.
1.2 Payment Terms
All membership fees are due on the day of registration and thereafter on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on your plan. Payments can be made through our approved payment methods, which may include credit card, bank transfer, or other payment processing methods.
1.3 Automatic Renewal
Unless canceled, your membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying us in writing at least 30 days before your next billing date.
2. Use of Facilities
2.1 Facility Hours
The Gym is open during the hours specified on our website and at the front desk. We reserve the right to adjust these hours for holidays, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances.
2.2 Conduct in the Gym
All members are expected to treat the gym and fellow members with respect and courtesy. Harassment, abusive language, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership.
2.3 Age Restrictions
Our facilities are available to individuals aged 18 and older. Minors (ages 16-17) may use the gym only with written consent from a parent or guardian, and they must be supervised by a responsible adult while attending classes.
3. Assumption of Risk
3.1 Physical Activity
You acknowledge that participating in CrossFit and other physical activities at our gym carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or accidents. By engaging in physical activities at Salt Lake City CrossFit, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities.
3.2 Health Disclaimer
It is your responsibility to consult a healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns. You confirm that you are in good physical health and able to safely participate in the activities offered at the Gym.
4. Waiver and Release of Liability
4.1 Waiver
By signing up for a membership or attending any class, event, or program at [Your Gym Name], you waive and release Salt Lake City CrossFit, its employees, contractors, and agents from any and all liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage to your person or property arising out of your participation in activities at our facilities.
4.2 Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an injury or medical emergency, you authorize Salt Lake City CrossFit to seek medical treatment on your behalf, at your expense, if you are unable to do so.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 Gym Etiquette
All members are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct, which includes:
Respecting other members and staff.
Cleaning equipment after use.
Following any specific safety guidelines provided by the trainers or posted in the gym.
Using equipment and facilities in a safe and responsible manner.
5.2 Behavioral Standards
Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to, physical or verbal abuse, misuse of equipment, or failure to follow instructions from staff. Members who fail to comply may have their membership revoked without refund.
6. Class Reservations and Cancellations
6.1 Class Reservations
We offer class reservations through our booking system, available online or via the gym’s app. You must reserve your spot in advance, as spaces may be limited.
6.2 Cancellations and No-Shows
If you need to cancel a class reservation, please do so at least 12 hours before the class to avoid a late cancellation fee. No-shows or late cancellations may incur a charge, as outlined in the class reservation policy.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 Personal Information
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. By becoming a member or using our services, you consent to our collection, storage, and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Photography and Videography
From time to time, we may take photographs or videos for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in writing.
8. Membership Termination
8.1 Member Termination
You may cancel your membership at any time by providing 30 days' written notice. No refunds will be issued for unused services or time unless required by law.
8.2 Gym Termination of Membership
We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time for reasons including but not limited to failure to comply with gym policies, misconduct, or failure to pay dues. In such cases, no refunds will be provided.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Use of Gym Materials
All intellectual property (including logos, trademarks, videos, training programs, and written content) related to Salt Lake City CrossFit is the property of the gym and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without permission.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or communicated to you directly. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly for updates.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Utah. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
